Words come short, and actions feel so meaningless. By now it’s official that 93 people lost their lives in the tragic massacre. 93 individuals from all over the country, who each had their dreams, plans and hopes for the future. Left are their families and friends in unbearable grief. Still there are many injured, and some are missing. It’s hard to take in that such cruelness excists in this world. How one person deliberately can cause so much pain. How he face to face could execute 86 children and young men, and in addition injure 67 more. But as one girl at Utøya so wisely put it on CNN:
“If one man can show so much hate, think how much love we can show together.”
Even though it’s easy to convert to hate, it’s important to focus on spreading love and compassion to all the victims of this cruelty instead. These are times where we need to keep our loved ones closer. Everyone must stand together as fellow humans, and as a nation during this grief. We will get through this, together.

“Når én mann kan vise så mye hat. Tenk hvor mye kjærlighet vi kan vise sammen.”
Svært rørt over Stoltenbergs ord under dagens gudstjeneste. Har gått med en svær klomp i magen helt siden fredag ettermiddag. Å våkne opp i dag til nyhetene, og bilder av voksne mannfolk som knekker sammen i gråt, fikk tårene til å trille.
Black days in Europe.
Horrible massacre in Norway yesterday, and today one of our most talented singers Amy Winehouse has passed away.
Let us join our hearts together in a unison prayer of deep Light for all those in need.
When we are to far away from eachother to hold hands, we can hold hearts. ♥
The news is just horrifying to watch! I’ve slept for 3/4 hours… I’m so tired of never hearing any good news. It just gets worse and worse! And all we can do now is wait, stay strong and be there for each other.
For those not aware, downtown Oslo, Norway, has been hit by a massive explosion. Reports are fuzzy at the moment, but all are reporting that the focus of the blast are the Prime Minster’s/governmental buildings. There were earlier reports of a second blast, although this now appears to have been damage caused by the initial blast, which was heard as far as 15 miles away. There are, however, now reports of larger areas of Oslo being evacuated by police saying there are more unexploded bombs.
One person has been confirmed dead by a credible source so far, although from pictures emerging, it’s likely the death toll will be far higher.
News agencies have been slow picking up on the details, but the BBC seem to be most well-informed, along with DougSanders, the European Bureau Chief for The Globe and Mail.
