Words come short, and actions feel so meaningless. By now it’s official that 93 people lost their lives in the tragic massacre. 93 individuals from all over the country, who each had their dreams, plans and hopes for the future. Left are their families and friends in unbearable grief. Still there are many injured, and some are missing. It’s hard to take in that such cruelness excists in this world. How one person deliberately can cause so much pain. How he face to face could execute 86 children and young men, and in addition injure 67 more. But as one girl at Utøya so wisely put it on CNN:
“If one man can show so much hate, think how much love we can show together.”
Even though it’s easy to convert to hate, it’s important to focus on spreading love and compassion to all the victims of this cruelty instead. These are times where we need to keep our loved ones closer. Everyone must stand together as fellow humans, and as a nation during this grief. We will get through this, together.

Svært rørt over Stoltenbergs ord under dagens gudstjeneste. Har gått med en svær klomp i magen helt siden fredag ettermiddag. Å våkne opp i dag til nyhetene, og bilder av voksne mannfolk som knekker sammen i gråt, fikk tårene til å trille.

The news is just horrifying to watch! I’ve slept for 3/4 hours… I’m so tired of never hearing any good news. It just gets worse and worse! And all we can do now is wait, stay strong and be there for each other.
